"Some people become lovable when they drink while others just wind up miserable,"crying in their glass." Then there are folks who say that when they have one too many the truth comes out and if they get nasty it's because they're just being truthful. The truth is... lovable or miserable, if you can get nasty... you're just nasty."

I just can't wrap my head around the concept of someone being a nice person but when they have a few they get really ugly. For instance... someone who's,"over their limit" starts in with you and because they see you tolerating them and in a...
confused state, assuming that your patience is a sign of weakness, they go on in a drunken tirade ranting about how they get that way when they're drunk and that's when the truth comes out. In a bar you can get punched in the nose for thinking like that. You're inhibitions do drop when you're intoxicated but in this case it's guilt and not truth that promotes the nastiness.
